How long should a holiday lights tour be?

Three to four hours covers Dyker Heights and one stop in Manhattan without rushing. Add an hour if you want dinner or a third stop. The booking widget shows the hourly minimum for each vehicle.

Can you drive us past the houses in Dyker Heights?

The display blocks get very crowded in December, and the local precinct keeps tour buses off them, so the lights are seen on foot. We drop you at the edge of the display, wait a few blocks away, and pick you up when you are done.

When are the Dyker Heights lights on?

The houses light up over Thanksgiving weekend and stay on through the end of December, from around sunset until 9 or 10 at night. Weeknights are much quieter than weekends.

Can you pick us up outside Brooklyn and Manhattan?

Yes. We pick up anywhere in the five boroughs and across the tri-state area, and the evening ends wherever you want to be dropped off.

How many people fit in one vehicle?

The S-Class seats up to three, which suits a couple or a small family. Our Sprinters seat up to 14, so a larger family or a group of friends can ride together.

As early as you can. December weekends go first, especially the two before Christmas. Weeknights are easier to get, and the streets are quieter too.

What is your cancellation policy?

Reservations can be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before pickup. Inside that window, contact us and we will do our best to work with the situation.

DYKER HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN

The lights are on foot. The car is around the corner.

Dyker Heights has the biggest display in the city, and the best of it sits on 83rd to 86th Streets between 11th and 13th Avenues. The precinct keeps tour buses off those blocks, so everyone walks, and parking anywhere nearby on a December weekend is close to hopeless. We drop your group at the edge of the display, wait a few blocks away, and pull up when you are ready to move on. Our base is a few miles away on Kings Highway, so these are streets we know.

One car for the whole evening

A lights tour works best as an hourly booking. The car stays with you from pickup to drop-off, so you can spend twenty minutes on one block and an hour on the next without hunting for a ride in between. Most groups start around dark, see two or three places, and stop for dinner on the way home. The booking widget shows the hourly minimum for each vehicle.

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN

The tree, the windows, and Fifth Avenue

From the night the Rockefeller Center tree is lit until early January, the blocks around it are the most crowded in the city. The department store windows carry on up Fifth Avenue from there. We drop you close, you walk the stretch between the tree and the windows, and the car meets you at a corner we agree on beforehand, because stopping at the front door is rarely possible on those blocks in December.
