Cape Liberty Cruise Port is at 4 Port Terminal Boulevard in Bayonne, New Jersey, on the former Military Ocean Terminal peninsula, and it is the home port for Royal Caribbean and Celebrity sailings from the New York area. From Midtown it is about thirteen miles through the Holland Tunnel, roughly 35 minutes on a clear run. From Long Island City it is about fifteen miles, around 45 minutes. From southern Brooklyn the route crosses the Verrazzano and the Bayonne Bridge. Your chauffeur picks the crossing against live traffic on the morning you sail.

There is no rail line to the terminal itself, so the usual alternatives are a train and a taxi with every bag changing hands twice. A private car service to Cape Liberty replaces that with one vehicle from your door to the drop-off curb.
